The Maintenance Team at Ardeonaig consists of the Maintenance Team Leader and up to three assistants.  The work of the department is essential to the ministry of the Centre, as the appearance of the grounds and the standard of our facilities are in themselves a powerful Christian witness.  The role, which is often varied and challenging, requires the team member to:

- Take an active, hands-on role in the Team

- Assist in the provision of a routine maintenance service for the Centre

- Look after Centre buildings including emergency repairs and project work particularly involving painting/joinery.

First and foremost, we are looking for people who want to serve God in this kind of outreach. We require people who have lots of stamina, are self-sufficient, easy to get on with, flexible in their approach and work well in a team.

Previous experience is essential and applicant needs to be:

- Skilled in either painting or joinery

- Skilled or semi-skilled in electrical work and plumbing

It is a Genuine Occupational Requirement, in terms of the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003, that this post is filled by a practising Christian.
