The living area is open plan with fitted kitchen, dining table and seating for four with lounge furniture . Windows and double doors open on to a south facing paved patio area, with extensive views to the hills surrounding Ardeonaig. The Lodge has a TV and DVD player (but no TV signal at present) and has a WIFI connection.
Situation
This newly constructed wood lodge is in the estate of Abernethy Ardeonaig. Located half way along Loch Tay, a breathtaking drive in either direction takes you to some of Scotland’s hidden gems. To the West is Killin, featuring the world famous Falls of Dochart, and to the East is the picturesque village of Kenmore and Aberfeldy beyond. However, why drive anywhere when a short walk will lead you into Munro country and some of Scotland’s most beautiful wild places.
Brae Lodge Cottage sits high above the south shores of Loch Tay and the beautiful and exclusive hamlet of Ardeonaig. With expansive views of the glen behind Ardeonaig, visitors find themselves in the very heart of Highland Perthshire and all that this beautiful region has to offer.
Guests staying in the lodge may benefit from discounted rates at the neighboring Abernethy Ardeonaig Adventure Centre, including activities such as High and low ropes; archery; gorge walking; sailing; canoeing and kayaking. For walkers, a real treat; benefit from the knowledge of our Mountain Leader qualified instructors to make sure you are planning the best routes with the best views. Advance booking of activities is recommended.
Cost and Availability
Our 2011 prices have been held and apply to all bookings for 2012 as well!
The price includes a welcome pack, all bed-linen, towels and electricity. The welcome pack includes milk, butter and bread. In the cupboard there is a selection of tea, ground coffee, sugar, salt and pepper; olive oil, loo rolls, cling film, tin foil. There is also a supply of cleaning items including washing up liquid, dish cloths and tea towels
The lodge is available all year. Rental rates are for either Fri-Fri; Fri- Mon or Mon to Fri, shorter breaks maybe possible with a minimum of 2 nights stay.
