A weekend away as a group of families from Church can be fun, sociable and a great time for building lasting friendships. We can offer a full all age programme or maybe just outdoor activities for the younger members of your party.
Being at Church with a young family can sometimes make it hard to get to know other families so time away is a great way of developing friendships and enjoying fellowship with others with the benefit of being in a Christian centre in fantastic, safe surroundings.
Our pricing structure makes it easy for you to take up the option of any amount of instruction.
Prices for 2012 start from £90 Mid Season for 2 nights and 1 activity day.
The full board, no activities price for Mid Season starts at £30per person per night (under 2's go free).

Church Leaders
Being away from Church can be a really beneficial and constructive time for the Leaders.
Whether you are running a mini conference, a team meeting or a relaxing Spiritual retreat, Abernethy will be able to work with you to ensure your time is pleasurable and rewarding. We can offer conference facilities, meeting rooms or comfortable lounges with open fires. Our staff team of committed Christians will be helpful and sympathetic to your requirements.

Alpha / Christianity Explored or similar
Why not use our facilities to host your Church Alpha (or other) weekend away. Having the opportunity to spend time away from the normal home environment is extremely valuable for those exploring their Faith. These weekends are organised by you and you can bring a Speaker and organise your own programme to help your participants get to know each other, get to know God and to build trust within the group.
Mens & Ladies Groups
Escaping the pressures of home life for a weekend with a group of like minded friends can be totally in valuable and extremely refreshing. We can work with you to organise your ladies or mens weekend retreat at Abernethy. You could bring a speaker for the weekend or organise your own programme of activities. If you chose to take part in some outdoor activities we could devise a suitable programme for the ages and abilities of your group.
All of our Centres are in beautiful surroundings and, if full on adventurous activities didn’t suit you then there are many walks and other local attractions that you could enjoy during your weekend away.
