We are passionate about the many benefits of learning in the outdoors. As such, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award plays a central role in the programmes we offer, providing young people with the framework to discover more about themselves and the attributes they will need to develop throughout their teenage years and early adulthood.
Located within spectacular wild country areas, our four AALA Licensed Adventure Centres provide the ideal locations across Scotland to plan and complete Bronze, Silver and Gold Expeditions, whether on foot or on water.
Work with our Mountain Leader qualified Instructors to build a programme to suit your group’s level of ability and support, as well as your budget. We are able to offer training days or weekends, practice expeditions and assessments. Our qualified Assessors and Supervisors will work with participants to plan their routes, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to navigate through open countryside. Abernethy is a Learn Direct Scotland approved Centre and our DofE expeditions have been approved for financial assistance for those holding an ILA Scotland account. CONTACT US
