Abernethy Nethybridge Adventure Centre
Abernethy Nethybridge is a beautiful converted country house set in 25 acres of parkland and forest. The Centre has grown dramatically since it was first set up in 1971, and offers a fantastic range of indoor and outdoor activity options.
Location
Abernethy Nethybridge has the perfect location for year-round adventure. The centre is situated within the Cairngorms National Park – a natural playground for the outdoor enthusiast. The surrounding area offers rivers to paddle down, forests to explore, mountains for climbing and winter sports and lochs for sailing and windsurfing. Of course, there is also a range of challenging and fun on-site activities set within our estate.
Accommodation & Facilities
The centre offers comfortable bunk-bedded accommodation for 83 people in either the main house or the adjacent Abernethy Chalets. We have a small number of en suite rooms and single leader’s bedrooms. Abernethy Nethybridge has great facilities too – a sports centre with indoor swimming pool, sports hall and games room. There is also a choice of lounges for you to relax in – from the impressive 120 seat Theatre Lounge, to the modern comfort of the Allt Mór Lounge. We also have an indoor climbing wall, artificial ski slope and a tennis court. There are three timeshare self catering lodges on site.

Abernethy Nethybridge offers excellent sports & leisure facilities – the swimming pool is especially popular. The centre is also able to offer a year round adventure programme given our close proximity to two of Scotland’s ski areas. Our summer camps and adventure holidays for families in the summer are also a real highlight, as well as our New Year house party. We are able to cater for larger groups of 83+ people.
