In association with Ardgour Riding Centre, we are really pleased to be able to offer horse riding camps to unaccompanied young people at Abernethy Ardgour.  No previous riding experience, equipment or owning your on horse are necessary but if you are already a competent rider, there is still lots you can learn from the camps.

The camps are a fun mix of horse riding, stable management and some outdoor activities when the ponies are resting. The stables are located next door to Abernethy Ardgour and there is easy access to a sand school and the beach for riding with quite country lanes for safety.

This summer we are also offering a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold Residential Saddle Club Camp.  This will include riding, stable management, equine massage, equine therapy, a visit from the vet and a visit from the farrier – a great way to spend some time with the horses and gain the Residential Section of the DofE Award.  DofE candidates on this camp should be aged 18 and under.
