The Abernethy School of Adventure Leadership has various ski training courses running from our winter base in Anzère, Switzerland. Anzère is an excellent Ski area just next to Crans Montana in the Valais region of Switzerland.
Our courses offer great value for money and include full board accommodation. Our instructors have BASI qualifications and use a variety of techniques, including video feedback, to ensure maximum progress is made by each student. Our courses offer 5 x ½ day instructed sessions per week.

2011 Course Details
Ski leader Training & Assessment
This 6 week course is designed for skiers interested in encouraging young skiers. It is a good introduction to the basics of instruction and will allow the individual to take groups skiing. The Snowsport Scotland Ski Leader Assessment covers leadership, skiing skills and mountain skills. Participants must have a minimum of 1 week previous skiing experience plus a good level of fitness.

Instructor Preparation Course
This 6 week course is ideal for those working towards the BASI Level 1 or Level 2 Instructor qualification. You will work with a BASI instructor in a group of up to 8 other people of a similar standard. Participants must have a minimum of 8 weeks previous skiing experience plus a good level of fitness.

Minibus transport to Switzerland with pickup points in Scotland & England
Full board and accommodation in our bunkhouse chalet
Travel insurance for the whole trip
Lift passes for the relevant ski areas
