Many many people have visited an Abernethy Centre over the last 40 years and lots have become "Friends" of Abernethy. As we look towards the next 40 years we are re-stating what we are about and are challenging you be more than a Friend and to Be Involved in our ministry in different ways.

HOW YOU CAN HELP…
Spare a Prayer
CLICK HERE to see our list of regularly changing prayer points and add some of them to your personal prayer diary.
Bring a group
As part of Be Involved we want to encourage you to bring a group to one of our Centres. We will provide you with a "personal shopper" (or helper) who will help you to organise your trip. We will provide someone to come and talk to your group and will give you all the necessary literature that you will need to promote your trip to your group. CLICK HERE to send us your details.
Give us an intro
As an Ambassador for Abernethy we can provide you with up to the minute resources and information for you to pass on to people who may be interested in us. If you prefer then give us the contact name and number and we will get in touch. We rely on word of mouth as an vital part of spreading the word and your help with this is crucial. Give some time
You may be an architect or a school teacher or a tree surgeon. You may be a parent who can sew or a student who has a hidden talent for acting or you may be retired and looking for a way of helping for maybe only one day a year (inside or outside!). Giving of your time need not be an onerous commitment - on this occasion it really is true that every little helps. We really value the input that people can give and would love for you to give us a little of your time. CLICK HERE to send us your details.
Give financially
Financial gifts are important to our work and the development of our premises. There are various ways in which you can give financially.

We have a bursary fund which enables those otherwise not able to to visit our centres.

We also have projects and plans in the pipeline all of the time that need financial assistance - these are listed in the Be Involved 2012 report, REQUEST A COPY

If you feel that you could give a one off donation or a regular amount for the development of the Centres then we would be extremely grateful.
We are a registered charity so can claim gift aid on your giving (if you are a UK taxpayer) which equates to 25p for every £1. To offer financial support in confidence, CLICK HERE
Leave a Legacy
You may wish to leave a legacy to Abernethy in your will. These contributions are very important to us and help us finance projects large and small at all of our Centres. Applications for the Abernethy Talent Programme for 2013 are now closed. However, if you are 25 or under and are excelling in your chosen activity and woudl like to be considered for 2014, CLICK HERE to see if you are eligible to apply for support from Abernethy. This is a great opportunity to help spread the word of Abernethy and to be rewarded for doing so!
