We have some really great oppportunities to serve in Christian ministry on our teams in Scotland. With over 100 employees, there are often vacancies in all departments. Have a look at what we have available and pass on the details to anyone you know who is currently looking for a new challenge.
There are people of all backgrounds employed with Abernethy in a range of full time, part time, long term, gap year and short term roles. Whether you are a school or university leaver or have previous career experience, our ministry regularly offers a choice of options to serve. Abernethy has been an investor in people since 1971 and we can offer the opportunity for professional development through in house training and through external courses.
Most of our opportunities are on a “live-in” basis and there is a great community atmosphere at our centres. Accommodation, meals and a salary are provided and there is the option to make use of the centres facilities and to visit the other Abernethy centres.
If you are applying for a position with us from overseas, please visit this page regarding visas HERE
Whatever role you are considering, our main focus is to share the Christian faith with our guests, many of whom are 10-18 year olds and so applicants should be in sympathy with this and able to participate in our evening Christian programme.
