Take your riding to the next level and ride steeper, faster and bigger than ever before! These great camps for young biking enthusiasts were launched in 2012 and have been incredibly popular ever since. Coaching will be from Sick Skills. Designed for riders 11-15.
Want to try something new this summer? Just getting to grips with mountain biking? Gravity Basics is a starting point to jump into the world of mountain biking with five days of riding some of our favourite local trails. We’ve taken our Gravity Camp formula and stripped it back for newer (and younger) riders. Come and have some fun in the hills with us this July. Designed for riders 8-11.
To achieve these aims, our camps are limited to those who are already confident riding steep single track trails with rocks, roots and small drops in most conditions as well as taking some air.
You will be asked, when booking, where you are currently riding and where you have ridden recently. You may well be currently taking part in a regional or national race series.

During instructed sessions, expert coaches (to be announced) will be tutoring and Abernethy staff will be accompanying the sessions.
In non-instructed time, Abernethy staff will be supervising you and organising activities. From making sure you make a packed lunch and respect the centre and its facilities to joining in with the coaching sessions, our team will generally be looking out for you during your time away from home.
Our Gravity Extra Camps are for ages 11-16 and include three uplift days.
Our Gravity Basics Camps are for ages 8-11 and don't include any uplift days.
