KEY ROLES

  • Plan, manage and implement nature conservation and restoration activities. 
  • Deliver the involvement of other guests and staff in environmental tasks. 
  • Participate in the general running of the Centre, specifically being attached to the instruction department in the Outdoor Activities Education programme 
  • Deliver nature, conservation and environmental sessions to guests and staff 
  • Learn skills to deliver outdoor education activities that complement the environmental role 
  • Develop our relationship with A Rocha and attend some of their training sessions 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Understanding of ecology and the management of environmental interventions 
  • Willing to develop educational skills necessary to deliver sessions to guests 
  • It is a genuine occupational requirement that the holder of this post is a practising Christian whose lifestyle is consistent with the values and doctrine of the Christian faith 
  • As part of our commitment to safeguarding, the successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure

DESIRABLE

  • A passion for outdoor activities and a commitment to develop your outdoor skill set  
  • Full Driving License including D1
