Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential – Learn to Cook

Join us at Abernethy Barcaple for your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold Residential!

Are you heading off to university or looking to move out of home? Maybe you want to have the confidence to prepare meals for all the family. The Learn to Cook option provides 1/2 day of adventure activities each day, combined with 1/2 day learning various cooking techniques, which may include evening meals, traybakes, cakes and bread.

What’s on offer:

• 4 nights accommodation with meals
• Spend at least half of each day doing adventure activities led by qualified instructors
• Opportunity to meet new people and make friends
• Be challenged and develop your skills

The Details:

Arrive: before 9.00am on Monday
Depart: 3pm Friday
(Option to stay the Sunday night beforehand, please advise us of your arrival time if selecting this option, so that we can arrange for someone to be present to welcome you. Please note that this is accommodation only on Sunday night and no food is available until Monday breakfast).
