Abernethy is a group of 4 outdoor adventure centres in Scotland, a bunkhouse in Argyll and an additional winter training base in the Swiss Alps. We are a Christian organisation which means that our staff team are Christians and we hope that our guests see a positive difference in the care and contact that they receive.
Abernethy was established in 1971 and, since then has grown to include a team of over 100 people, some full time and some part time, some here as a gap year and some as a long term career. Either way, the team is trained to ensure the best hospitality and customer service possible in some of the most stunning (and occasionally remote) locations in Scotland. Our house and kitchen teams will look after you for the duration of your time at Abernethy and our fully qualified instructors will ensure you have unforgettable, fun, safe adventures. Our office teams will deal with your booking and will be on hand during your stay for any queries you may have. Our maintenance teams will fix things and maintain our properties to make sure you are able to have a relaxing stay.

All in all, we are here to serve you whether you come as part of a group, with a school, on a course or as an individual and we hope that your Abernethy experience is one that you will remember for years to come!
On Monday 18 March 2019, the Abernethy Board of Directors announced to our team and supporters that Abernethy will have a new CEO, joining us in a few months' time. Read the full announcement to our Supporters here.
