Sometimes our faith can feel like embers – burning out with nothing left to feed it, yet hot enough to reignite. Not just ourselves, but the world around us. Spend a weekend in the wild, take a plunge into high octane adventure, and rediscover the Bible as the fuel for every step you take.
Embers is an exciting initiative from the Scottish Bible Society and Abernethy Trust for young adults, combining Bible study with friendship, amidst the fun and challenge of outdoor adventure!
The Bible is a vital source of wisdom and strength for anyone navigating the challenges of early adulthood; leaving school, moving to uni, entering the world of work, and the highs and lows of relationships.
Embers weekend is designed to restore and build faith amongst young adults, equipping all those who come for the next steps in life. Hosted at the Abernethy Trust centre at Nethybridge from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of August, the cost is just £125 for the full weekend.
Our theme for Embers 2026 is “Dreams, decisions and diversions: lessons from the life of Joseph”
If you are 30 or under, then get booking – this weekend is for you!
If you’re a little older perhaps you know of young adults who might be interested?
