Here at Abernethy we are getting excited about summer 2026 and we are already anticipating what God is going to do! We are starting to pull together an amazing summer team and we would love you to consider being a part of it.

Do you love seeing young people grow in confidence, freedom and faith? Do you love having fun and working hard within a community of people with a shared vision? Do you want to serve others this summer while also having opportunities to grow your own faith and experience? We would love you to apply to join our team and help us as we see what God will do this year through our summer youth and family camps.

There are opportunities in the following departments:

House Team
Kitchen Team
Maintenance Team
(some roles may involve working between two departments)

As well as working in a department there are lots of other opportunities to be involved in the life of the summer camps, such as:

Worship team
Activity group leader
Small group leader
Family Week Kids Team
Family Week Teens Team
Getting involved in games, party nights, bonfires, evening sessions and much, much more!

Arrival is 1st July and departure is 15th August (or stay for an extra week and join in even more!). We may have some opportunities to volunteer for 1-2 weeks, along with some short-term team member positions for those wanting to stay for over two months, so please do get in touch.

Training, accommodation and full board will be provided

Minimum age 18 (applications from 17-year-olds will be considered on an individual basis so please do get in touch via recruitment@abernethy.org.uk)
