Abernethy Ardgour Adventure Centre

Abernethy Ardgour is located in a breathtaking 3000 acre estate on the shores of Loch Linnhe. The Centre is also the base for the Abernethy School of Adventure Leadership which offers a range of courses for those seeking to develop their adventure activity skills or become outdoor instructors.

Location
On the shores of Loch Linnhe in a dramatic Highland estate lies Abernethy Ardgour. This remote lochside location is perfect for those wishing to get away and experience a real sense of escape. The journey itself is an adventure with a short ferry crossing from Corran to Ardgour. The local area is rich in wildlife, and consists of rugged mountains and beautiful sea lochs. We are located approximately 20 miles from Fort William – about 3 hours drive from the centre of Glasgow.

Accommodation & Facilities
The Centre offers comfortable bunk-bedded accommodation for 32 people in a range of different room sizes – most of which have views of Loch Linnhe. Abernethy Ardgour has great facilities – a vast estate to enjoy and explore, homely accommodation and our brand new sports barn with climbing wall and fitness room.

Why choose Ardgour?
Given our smaller size, we are able to offer smaller groups exclusive use of the Centre. Ardgour is also the Centre to come to if you wish to train to be an outdoor instructor – our popular Instructor Training course is based here. A homely atmosphere combined with a breathtaking location make Abernethy Ardgour an excellent choice.
